At Mid-Columbia Center for Living (MCCFL), we know that reaching out for help can be difficult. When someone is ready to take that first step, we want to make it as easy as possible to connect with services.
That’s why we’re excited to announce that MCCFL is resuming Open Access Appointments.
What Is Open Access?
Open Access means that individuals seeking behavioral health or substance use services can receive a same-day assessment appointment without waiting weeks for an initial visit.
Whether you’re looking for support for your mental health, concerns related to substance use, or you’re simply not sure where to start, our team is here to help.
What Can I Expect?
When you come in for an Open Access appointment, you will meet with either:
- A case manager, or
- A clinician specializing in mental health or substance use services, depending on your needs.
During the appointment, we will:
- Learn more about you and your situation
- Discuss the concerns that brought you to MCCFL
- Review your strengths, needs, and goals
- Identify services and resources that may be helpful
- Develop a plan for next steps
Our goal is to ensure that everyone leaves with a clear understanding of available supports and a plan to begin addressing their concerns.
How Do I Access an Appointment?
Getting started is easy.
You can:
- Call MCCFL during business hours and request an assessment appointment, or
- Walk into one of our offices during business hours and request an assessment appointment
Open Access appointments are available during our regular business hours:
Monday through Friday
- 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Prefer to Schedule Ahead?
We understand that same-day appointments don’t work for everyone. If you would rather plan ahead, we can also schedule an assessment appointment for a future date and time that works better for you.
We’re Here When You’re Ready
Everyone’s journey is different, but no one has to navigate challenges alone. Whether you’re seeking help for the first time, returning to services, or supporting a loved one, MCCFL is committed to helping people connect with care when they need it.
If you’re ready to get started, give us a call or stop by during business hours and ask for an assessment appointment. We’re here to help.
