Intellectual and Developmental Services

Intellectual and Developmental Services Overview

Who We Are

The State of Oregon, Department of Human Services, Seniors and People with Disabilities contracts with each County to provide a variety of services to individuals with developmental disabilities, through a local Community Developmental Disability Program (CDDP). We are the program that serves Hood River, Wasco and Sherman Counties.

What We Do

Mid-Columbia Center for Living Intellectual and Developmental Services provides case management to children and adults who experience intellectual or developmental disabilities. People with developmental disabilities may have problems with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as communication, mobility, learning, self-help, and independent living.

Mid-Columbia Center for Living connects consumers with resources that help them live healthy and productive lives regardless of their impairments. Our services include intake and eligibility determination, case management services, residential services, vocational services for adults, in-home services, transportation services for adults, crisis services, and referral to brokerage services for adults.
